Dr Brodie’s Departure
Dear patients,
I wanted to let you know that from Monday 16th January I will be relocating to Kidderminster Medical Centre (KMC) for the foreseeable future.
KMC is another surgery within the Wyre Forest Health Partnership and they are currently facing challenges due to having a low number of GPs relative to other practices within our organisation.
Whilst I am excited about the prospect of working with my Kidderminster colleagues more closely, my departure is of course tinged with sadness. I have been lucky enough to develop a rewarding doctor-patient relationship with many of you and I will miss these interactions.
I know however that, those who are used to consulting me, will be left in incredibly capable hands. I truly believe that you would would be hard pressed to find a better primary care team than the one here at SMC anywhere else across the country. It has been an honour to work with such a caring group of individuals.
I’m delighted that we have recently welcomed Dr Tom Caldwell into our team. Dr Caldwell is an experienced GP who will help to support my patients following my move.
I may return to Stourport at some point but for now I wish all SMC patients the very best for the future and I thank you for entrusting me with your care.
Dr Tristan Brodie
